Participants will join a mixed volunteering and activity residential, supporting our busy outdoor adventure and events programme from February to October. They will assist staff in delivering a range of land-based, water-based and arts activities for visiting groups. Depending on the season, participants may help with themed events such as Easter activity trails, summer adventure camps and Halloween experiences, as well as language-exchange projects involving international students and volunteers.
DofE volunteers will also contribute to wider community and environmental projects, including woodland maintenance, beach or riverside clean-ups and support tasks around the site. Throughout the week they will work both independently and as part of a team, developing confidence, adaptability and communication skills while engaging with diverse groups of guests.
Alongside their volunteering responsibilities, participants will take part in a selection of fun group activities and social sessions, giving them the chance to bond with peers, relax together and experience the programme they help deliver. This residential offers a varied, engaging and rewarding mix of practical volunteering, outdoor learning and shared adventure.
All food and accommodation included in cost.
