This Residential is female only. Whilst more girls and women are taking up climbing, they are still underrepresented within the sport. There can be a wide range of barriers to participation, including a lack of confidence, not feeling strong enough for climbing or not feeling comfortable in a mixed gender group. By offering this residential week for women only, we hope to provide a safe and supportive space for all women who would like to go climbing.

During the week you’ll try your hand at various climbing styles, such as bouldering, sport climbing and traditional climbing.

Start – Monday 24th August 2026 @ 10:30am, Hathersage Station
Finish – Friday 28th August 2026 @ 4:00pm, Hathersage Station

Cost – £425.00 This includes bunkhouse accommodation, transport, food and technical kit for the full duration of the week. You will need to provide your own personal kit (mostly clothing) for the programme, a full kit list will be provided upon booking.

You will also need to arrange travel to and back from Hathersage Train Station.
