Known for its amazing atmosphere and iconic route, the Great North Run is a bucket list event.
With general entries only available via a ballot, run for team DofE and not only will you guarantee your place, you’ll also be helping transform the lives of more young people through The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
As we celebrate 70 years of the DofE, we’re fundraising to support the next generation at a time when they need it most. Sign up for the Great North Run and help make sure no young person is prevented from doing their DofE due to financial barriers.

Requirements
All participants must be aged 17 or over on the day of the event.
Support
Everyone running for the DofE charity will receive a branded running top, help to fundraiseand support on the day of the event to cheer you all the way to the finish line.
