Opportunity Finder listings – for AAPs

Opportunities for DofE participants

The Opportunity Finder is the best way of sharing your activities with the DofE network, so you should make the most of the listings available to you as an AAP.

You can upload information about your activities to the Opportunity Finder, participants can then search to find opportunities suitable for them.

Each AAP can upload up to three listings per week. If a new listing request appears to be for the same opportunity as a previous listing, we will delete duplicates. All listings are reviewed prior to publication and can take up to five working days to be published.

If you would like to make a minor edit to an existing listing or remove a listing, please email the listing’s URL and details of the change to AAP@DofE.org. Please do not submit a new listing.

*Title of opportunity

Please don’t include your AAP name or date of opportunity, but you should include the section. For example, “Learn macrame for your Skills.”

6 words limit

Please describe in detail what the activity involves and what the young person will be doing.

*Course dates

Please include the start date of your opportunity. If your listing is for multiple opportunities or is ongoing, enter words such as ‘start anytime’ or ‘see website’.

*Expiry Date for listing

Every opportunity requires an expiry date (max 12 months from date of submission). Once the listing expires it will be automatically removed from the website. If you need your final numbers well in advance, consider this when picking an expiry date.

As part of your AAP licence, we offer you up to three promoted listings per calendar year at no charge. Promoted listings appear on the Opportunity Finder at the top of the search for one week, with a ‘promoted opportunity’ banner. If you would like an opportunity promoted, please email AAP@DofE.org with the following:

Promoted listings can be scheduled up to the end of the year in advance and are refreshed each Monday*. * or the next working day if this falls on a Bank Holiday.
