The Air League Gliding Bursaries offer aspiring glider pilots additional financial support toward solo flight, aerobatic training, or cross-country flying.

Each bursary is valued at £500 and is designed to support a young person’s progression into a career in aviation, aerospace, or space.

Training is undertaken at the scholar’s own pace at their chosen gliding club. Applicants must have prior gliding experience, be current members of a gliding club, and hold current membership with the Air League.
