Volunteers join teams to assist with environmental restoration projects across urban and rural New Zealand locations.
Tasks include planting native trees, mulching, seed collection, weed and pest control, track maintenance, fence repairs, and habitat monitoring. Participants may also support cultural conservation efforts and take part in weekend excursions to local natural sites.
Throughout the program, volunteers engage in both hands on work and cultural exchange, collaborating with passionate local Kiwis and gaining insight into New Zealand’s unique ecological and cultural heritage.
Available project durations range from one to twelve weeks, with arrival and return on Fridays. The program is open year-round with minimal fitness requirements and welcomes volunteers aged 18+
