Our Gold DofE practice expeditions are designed to give participants the skills and confidence they need for their final qualifying journey. Over three days and two nights, groups will plan and follow their route across the Peak District, carrying all equipment and camping independently.

Expeditions are fully supervised by accredited DofE Assessors and Mountain Leaders. Participants develop advanced navigation, route planning, and expedition management skills while experiencing the beauty of the national park.

These practice expeditions are ideal preparation for our Gold Qualifier later in the summer. Full joining instructions, kit list, and safety information are provided upon booking.
