WDC is the leading charity dedicated to the protection of whales and dolphins. Your volunteering support will make a huge difference. With a mix of research, advocacy, community engagement, and practical activities, you will gain all sorts of skills by volunteering with us for your DofE Award. And you will be contributing to a globally significant cause.
Our DofE workbook is designed to help support you in completing the Volunteering section of your Award. The tasks in the workbook offer a variety of ways to learn more about WDC’s work and to help protect whales and dolphins. You can be flexible in choosing which activities you do and how long they take.
There are three options – each with a WDC activity pack to help you. You can focus on one of these or do elements from all three:

- Fundraising
- Spread the Word
