Sew It Online is a creative, beginner-friendly sewing course designed to help you complete the Skills section of your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. The course focuses on machine sewing, making it ideal for teens who want to build practical, hands-on skills while working on fun projects from home.

Over three months you’ll learn how to confidently use a sewing machine, follow simple patterns and video instructions and create a range of exciting items – from tote bags and bunting to cushion covers and zip pouches. The course is easy to follow, with each session building your skills step by step. You’ll finish the course planning and designing your own project and once you’ve submitted all your photo evidence to us we will complete your Assessor report.

This course is all about developing confidence with a sewing machine and discovering how creative and rewarding sewing can be.
