This course will introduce you to the best practices of developing and producing an original podcast with the goal of having you leave the course with a fully formed plan to create a podcast and reach new audiences. Over the last twenty years podcasting has grown from a niche interest on the fringes of internet blogging to a multi-billion-pound industry.

It has developed into a mainstream media option providing hours of content for listeners and viewers yet remains a space where new voices are given opportunities and where experimental approaches to storytelling can exist. The course is designed to give you a real experience of university life, make new friends who share similar interests and develop your portfolio so that ultimately, you can make an informed decision about your future.
