Join The Island Trust for an incredible sailing adventure along the beautiful coastlines of the South West.

During this 8 day expedition, you will live and sail on board one of our traditional sailing vessels, working together as a team to navigate, sail and manage life at sea. With guidance from experienced instructors, you will take part in all aspects of running the boat, including helming, sail handling, navigation and passage planning.

The voyage includes your training, practice and qualifying expedition, giving you the opportunity to build confidence and develop practical sailing skills while meeting the requirements of the DofE expedition section.

Each day brings new challenges as you explore sheltered bays, historic harbours and stunning coastal scenery.

Life on board is all about teamwork. You’ll cook together, keep watch, help plan routes and support each other throughout the journey.

Along the way there may be opportunities to swim, explore ashore and enjoy the adventure of life at sea.
