Aspen Outdoors Ltd – Three-day Open Gold Practice Expedition – Perthshire

Journey through Highland Perthshire on this three-day Gold Practice Expedition, with one night in a service camp and one wild camp. Transport from the Central Belt of Scotland.

The expedition begins at Aylth and ends in Glen Arkle, in Enochdhu. Participants have the option of either making their own way to the start or getting a lift in our minibus from Glasgow, Stirling, and Perth.

There will be one night at a campsite with a toilet and running water (Kirkton of Glenisla Hall) and one wild camp (at Loch Beanie). Each day of the expedition involves around 15km of walking. Underfoot, we will be using tracks and footpaths. Training on navigation skills, campcraft, route planning, and teamwork will be provided by instructors. The route goes from Aylth to Kirkton of Glenisla; then on day two, from Kirkton of Glenisla to Loch Beanie; then on day three, from Loch Beanie to Glenshee, over the An Lairig pass to finish in Glen Arkle and Enochdhu.
