During the months of March through to October we run a number of Open Award Schemes, any individual can come and join these programmes and they can do this independently.

Each programme includes two days training, a three day Practice Expedition at Easter and a four day Qualifying Expedition at the end of the school summer holidays.

Based on the rivers Severn and the Wye, the Gold Award as above says includes 2 days training, 3 days and 2 night practice and 4 days and 3 night qualifying expedition.

The cost includes the use of all the equipment needed, all Instructors, Supervisors, Assessors, tents, stoves, campsite fees, everything but food, which can be provided at additional cost.
