What do you do?

Our group of five retailers have their own unique vision and when put together share one passion: the outdoors. Whether you’re looking for fun and inexpensive adventure at Millets, unbeatable outdoor pursuits at GO Outdoors, or that something that enhances your life outdoors at Blacks, together we make an unstoppable group of retailers with a huge range of products on offer.

Why do you work with the DofE?

We believe in the importance of investing in young people’s development, and inherently support the work of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Aligning our passion and expertise as the UK’s largest outdoor business and the mission of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award allows us to pass on our knowledge and an exclusive discount to young people and volunteers.

What do you think the DofE gives to or does for young people?

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award opens a world of possibilities to young people from a range of diverse backgrounds. Participants of the Award are given a wholly holistic experience in everything from learning new and transferable skills, improving in a sport, gaining independence when volunteering, and confidently navigating the great outdoors, creating well-rounded individuals that are ready for the adult world.
