We are running a number of back-to-back practice and qualifying expeditions in 2026.

If you are an individual looking to join an existing group, you can join one of our canoe and kayak groups. We also run stand-up paddleboarding, walking and mountain biking expeditions for bookings of 4 or more people.

The package includes a training day followed by a 3-day practice expedition. There will then be a rest day, followed by a 4-day qualifying expedition. Two nights’ accommodation at Craigower Lodge Outdoor Centre in Newtonmore is included in the price (on the final night of the practice expedition and the rest day between the practice and qualifying expeditions).

We provide a qualified instructor for the training day, and we will supervise both the practice expedition and qualifying expedition. We also assess the qualifying expedition and your assessor’s report will be uploaded to eDofE once the expedition has been completed.

You don’t have to book the full back-to-back program, if you just want to book onto the training / practice expedition or the qualifying expedition, that’s fine.
