This Green Skills Camp is aimed at participants wishing to enter the environmental work force or postgraduates seeking practical skills.

This Green Skills Camp is aimed at participants wishing to enter the environmental work force or postgraduates seeking practical skills, this course is designed to teach a variety of skills useful for aspiring environmentalists.

Courses will cover the basics of a Phase 1 Habitat Survey, computer-based mapping, species identification, practical nature conservation tasks and careers talk from an employee in a related field.

You’ll get to develop your skills and interests with like-minded people and foster connections with people working in the environmental field and beyond. This is a great opportunity to gain practical conservation skills on recognised projects and initiatives.

This course is suitable for those aged 18-24 years old and for the residential section of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Always check with your leader before booking.

Cost includes full board accommodation, lunch & hot and cold drinks and in-course transport.
