Five-day residential based at a Lodge at Badaguish Outdoor Centre, Aviemore, Scotland. Participants will learn lots of winter skills: kicking steps, cutting steps, ice axe skills, crampon skills, snow shelters, avalanche awareness and much more.
There will be lots of opportunities to explore the Cairngorms, the largest mountain range in Britain: summiting peaks and journeying on the plateau.
Full board accommodation, all meals included. Specialist winter equipment included: winter boots, ice axe and crampons. Minibus transport from Aviemore train station or bus station.
Accommodation available (at no extra cost) on Friday, 12 Feb 2027, at the Lodge, on the night before the residential starts, for participants who want to travel up the day before.
