Arrival: 14:30 on August 17th. (Base camp near Windermere)
Finish: 16:00 on August 21st.

On arrival your Supervisor will go through the pre-expedition checks and will support everyone to make sure that the team is ready to start the expedition the next morning. You will spend the night at the base camp, and the expedition will begin in the morning.

The price includes campsite fees, stoves, fuel, tents, maps, compasses and first aid kits, plus the loan of personal kit (waterproofs, sleeping bags etc).
All our open expeditions are accessible by public transport, starting and finishing either at – or within taxi distance of – train stations.

The longest day will involve covering approx. 19 KMs. If you are unsure about your ability to do this please contact us. We aim to make our expeditions as accessible as possible and appropriate to people’s differing abilities.
