This week-long residential aims to deliver just that: fun, adventurous times that subtly develop the attributes needed to thrive in the 21st century.

Alongside these, you will complete a 16-hour first aid course, so you are confident and equipped to handle a first aid emergency. Students who complete the course will receive a certificate that is valid for three years.

No outdoor experience is required, all technical equipment and instruction will be provided, and activities could include canoeing, rock climbing, mountaineering, scrambling, white water kayaking and bushcraft.

Places likely to visit are unique locations around the Clwydians (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), Eryri National Park, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, River Dee and the ice cream shop in Llangollen!
