The Avenue Cookery School – Hands-On Face-to-Face DofE Cookery Skills Programme – Wadsworth, London

Turn your love of food into a skill for life! Our hands-on, face-to-face DofE Cookery Skills programme gives you the chance to learn practical cooking skills in our professional cookery school, working alongside professional chefs while completing your DofE Skills section. This is an in-person programme, all tuition takes place face-to-face at our professional kitchen and cookery school in London. We offer a flexible way to complete your award, with sessions available during weekends and school holidays, making it easy to fit around school and other commitments. Join our regular weekly Kids Cooking Club or combine different kids classes, including weekends and school holidays, to build your required tuition hours. You’ll learn new techniques, build confidence in the kitchen and practise your skills independently between sessions, keeping a log of your progress along the way. For Bronze, you’ll need at least 4 hours of tuition with us, and for Silver, 6 hours. Your first and final sessions must be with us, with at least one session per month. After your final session, send us your completed documentation and our DofE assessors can review and sign off your award online.
