The Shrewsbury & Telford NHS Trust – Hospital Art & Letter Creator – Shrewsbury

Use your creativity to create artwork and write uplifting messages to brighten the day of patients, staff and visitors across our hospitals, helping to spread kindness and positivity.

Would you like to use your creativity to make someone’s day a little brighter?

As an Art & Letter Creator, you’ll create colourful artwork and write short, positive messages or letters that can be shared with patients, staff and visitors across our hospitals.

You could choose to focus on a particular group, such as children on our paediatric ward or patients who may not have many visitors, or create a variety of artwork and messages that can be shared across the hospitals. Your creations may also be passed to our Chaplaincy Team to share with people who could benefit from a kind word or something cheerful to brighten their day.

You can use your imagination and develop your own ideas – whether that’s drawing, painting, designing cards, writing encouraging messages or creating something completely different!

You’ll need to make sure your work is suitable for a hospital environment and won’t include personal information. You can sign your creations with your first name, but recipients will remain anonymous.

This is a great opportunity to develop your creativity, communication skills and confidence while doing something genuinely kind and meaningful for people in our hospitals.
