Complete your Bronze DofE expedition with Summit Explorers on a two-day, one-night journey through the Shropshire Hills. Travelling between Church Stretton and Foxholes Castle near Bishop’s Castle, participants will explore countryside while developing confidence, independence and outdoor skills.

Participants will travel in small teams, navigate independently, camp overnight and work together to complete their expedition aim. Our experienced leaders provide safety supervision and remote support while allowing each team the independence required by the DofE expedition framework.

These open expeditions can be completed as either a practice or qualifying expedition. They are ideal for individual participants, friends wishing to attend together, or young people who have missed an expedition or cannot complete it through their school or usual DofE centre. Participants booking individually will be matched with a team.

The £100 fee includes campsite fees, group equipment, remote tracking, supervision and assessment where required. Personal expedition equipment can be hired for an additional charge.

Two date options are available during the summer holidays. With optional transport arrangements available to help participants complete their journey after the expedition.
