You will join a team of volunteers to help care for the rescued elephants at the centre in tropical Thailand.

The ethical sanctuary allows the elephants to live in a natural environment with limited direct interaction.

You will join the team of 15-30 volunteers to help:

• Preparing and distributing food for the elephants
• Cleaning the enclosures and grounds
• Creating enrichments for the elephants
• Harvesting of banana trees to feed the elephants, they get through a lot of food!
• Hosing down and washing the elephants – usually only in the dry season and only for some elephants
• Construction and maintenance of enclosures when required

You will meet volunteers from around the world.

In your free time you can head with your new friends to the beach, water park and vibrant night markets for some fun, relaxation and amazing Thai food! You can also explore the local area, Buddhist temple and village, with 3 national wildlife parks nearby.

The trip fee includes your shared accommodation, meals + planning your trip and 24/7 support from the Pod team.
