Spend five unforgettable days immersed in the world of honeybees while completing your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Residential in one of the UK’s most beautiful natural settings. Based just outside Bridport on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, this course gives you the chance to live and learn in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Alongside your studies, you’ll enjoy free time to explore the coast with beach visits and optional activities such as high ropes or kayaking. We’re easily accessible from London in under three hours and we collect all participants from Axminster train station.
As a licensed Duke of Edinburgh Approved Activity Provider, we assess your residential and complete your final report.
Led by experienced natural beekeepers, you’ll explore a low-intervention, bee-centred approach, learning how to safely handle bees, understand their behaviour and appreciate their vital role as pollinators.
With a blend of theory and hands-on work, you’ll gain confidence, practical skills, and a meaningful connection to nature. Places are limited, so book early.
Cost includes tuition, all food and drink, equipment accommodation and collect and drop off from train station
