Your DofE Gold Residential in the French Alps! Join us for a 6 night residential Chalet Host Cookery Course staying at Chalet Pomet, a stunning ski chalet in the heart of the French Alps.

Designed for young people aged 16 to 19, we are a DofE Approved Activity Provider (AAP), you can be confident that the course meets the Gold Residential requirements. With small groups of just 10, you’ll learn essential cookery, chalet host and hospitality skills while developing confidence, independence and teamwork.

There’s plenty of time to enjoy the hot tub and Alpine surroundings too, with free time at the swimming lake, or try white water rafting or climb the high ropes course.

We make getting there easy too, with collection from Geneva Airport, just one hour from the chalet.

Most importantly, this is about more than learning to cook. It’s about meeting new people, having fun, stepping outside your comfort zone and gaining practical life skills that will stay with you long after you leave the mountains.

Courses run throughout July and August, with additional dates during October half term. An unforgettable Alpine adventure, packed with skills, new friendships and recipes to delight your family and friends.

Cost includes all tuition, all food and drink and accommodation as well as airport transfers. Flights are not included in the cost.
