Complete your Bronze DofE expedition with Summit Explorers on a two-day, one-night journey through the Peak District. With routes between Edale, Millers Dale and Bakewell, participants will explore varied countryside while developing confidence, independence and outdoor skills.

Participants will travel in small teams, navigate independently, camp overnight and work together to complete their expedition aim. Our experienced leaders provide safety supervision and remote support while allowing each team the independence required by the DofE expedition framework.

These open expeditions can be completed as either a practice or qualifying expedition. They are ideal for individual participants, friends wishing to attend together, or young people who have missed an expedition or cannot complete it through their school or usual DofE centre. Individual participants will be matched with a team.

The £100 fee includes campsite fees, group equipment, remote tracking, supervision and assessment where required. Personal expedition equipment can be hired for an additional charge.

Four date options are available across two expedition blocks during July. This flexibility makes it easier to find an expedition that fits around school commitments and summer plans.
