Complete your Silver DofE expedition with Summit Explorers on a three-day, two-night journey through the Peak District. With routes from Edale or Peak Forest towards Millers Dale and Bakewell, participants will experience varied terrain while developing confidence and outdoor skills.

Participants will travel in small teams, navigate independently, camp for two nights and work together to complete their expedition aim. Our experienced leaders provide safety supervision and remote support while giving each team the independence required by the DofE expedition framework.

These open expeditions can be completed as either a practice or qualifying expedition. They are ideal for individual participants, friends attending together, or young people who have missed an expedition or cannot complete it through their school or DofE centre. Individual participants will be matched with a team.

The £150 fee includes campsite fees, group equipment, remote tracking, supervision and assessment where required. Personal expedition equipment can be hired for an additional charge.

Four date options are available across two expedition blocks during July. This flexibility makes it easier to choose an expedition that fits around other commitments.
