There are comforting cakes and crunchy churros, delicious dough balls and brilliant breads, moreish muffins, featherlight meringues and fudgy brownies. These recipes will show you how easy and rewarding baking can be, teaching you lots of practical kitchen skills, along with tips and techniques to guarantee success (plus ways to fix mistakes!)
The topics of safety, food hygiene, using seasonal and sustainable ingredients, energy-efficient cooking and reducing food wastage and one’s carbon-footprint in the kitchen are also covered.
