Orchards Cookery opened in 2003 and is based on a farm in the heart of England.  Courses are intensive and great fun, each day concluding with a dinner party. Over 100 different recipes are covered on a 5 day course and 2 week courses are also available.

The school specialises in training and recruiting Chalet Cooks, but also offers an Off to University course and The Orchards Course which is an all-round Cookery Course.

There are small class sizes of 8 students in a kitchen, with the fun of up to 48 young people at the school (minimum age 16 years). Facilities include a multi use games area for tennis, football, basketball, a gym, table tennis tables, pool table, volley ball court, badminton court (summer), bar and dancefloor.

Orchards Cookery also helps students with recruitment enabling young people to gain employment in ski chalets, private houses, shooting, hunting and fishing lodges, holiday villas and yachts etc.
