Three-day Open Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Qualifying Expedition in the Scottish Borders, using service campsites. Minibus transport, tents, and stoves included.

The expedition includes

The expedition will start in Pebbles
Minibus transport from the central belt
Camping in serviced campsites (with toilets)
Expedition supervision and assessment by Aspen teams.
Three days of trekking through beautiful scenery in the Scottish Borders: riverside paths, rounded hills, forest parks.
Support to participants to plan their route.
Tents and stoves included.

The landscape of the Scottish Borders is characterized by rolling hills, interspersed with valleys, and the prominent River Tweed, which flows eastwards through the region. It features extensive moorland and conifer forests. Peebles, the starting point for the expedition, is a historic market town on the river Tweed. Historically, it was a centre for the woolen industry. Today, Peebles and the surrounding countryside are very popular for walking, fishing, and mountain biking.
