Complete your Silver DofE expedition with Summit Explorers on a three-day, two-night journey through the Shropshire Hills. Starting in Church Stretton and finishing near Habberley, participants will cross varied countryside while developing confidence, resilience and outdoor skills.
Participants will travel in small teams, navigate independently, camp for two nights and work together to complete their expedition aim. The route offers an appropriately challenging Silver-level experience across hills, valleys and rural landscapes.
Our experienced leaders provide safety supervision and remote support while giving each team the independence required by the DofE expedition framework. Participants completing their qualifier will be assessed throughout their journey.
This open expedition can be completed as either a practice or qualifying expedition. It is ideal for individual participants, friends attending together, or young people who have missed an expedition or cannot complete it through their school or DofE centre. Individual bookings will be matched with a team.
The £150 fee includes campsite fees, group equipment, remote tracking, supervision and assessment where required. Personal expedition equipment can be hired for an additional charge. Preparation guidance will be provided before departure, ensuring participants understand the kit, expedition standards and arrangements.
