The Teen Nutrition School offers an outstanding fully online Vegetarian Nutrition and Cookery Course for young people completing the Skills section of their DofE Silver Award.
This fully online course features multimedia presentations covering a range of practical nutrition topics, from how to read a food label, to managing stress through diet. In addition, we include specific advice for vegetarian diets. Each unit also includes a vegetarian recipe to prepare, with full instructions, photos and videos to help. Our recipes are of course healthy, but also delicious, so if you would like to cook banana almond pancakes and a Middle Eastern mezze feast, this course is for you.
Students can start anytime, and work from the comfort of their own home, at their own pace and at a time convenient to them, uploading their work upon completion. Our tutors provide feedback and are available for any questions or issues. We welcome students with SEN and are happy to make suitable adjustments.
