Ygam – Youth Advisory Panel Volunteering – Online

The Ygam Youth Advisory Panel gives you the chance to share views and make your voice count on issues around gaming, gambling, and the wider digital lives of young people.

Do you have an interest in the digital world? Keen to gain experience by volunteering with a national charity and shaping real change?

Join the Ygam Youth Advisory Panel and make your voice heard! As a panel member, you’ll:

  • Share your views on how gaming and gambling can affect young people
  • Help shape Ygam’s resources and engagement so they really connect with your generation
  • Explore wider digital harms and give insight into the realities of young people’s online lives

This is a chance to influence change, gain valuable experience, and contribute towards your Duke of Edinburgh volunteering.

What’s involved?

  • A mix of online group sessions (on Teams, led by Ygam staff) and self-motivated volunteering
  • Open to young people aged 13–17

By joining, you’ll be part of a panel that helps Ygam understand the digital world from a young person’s perspective – and ensures your generation’s voice is at the heart of safeguarding.

Please note that there is an expected minimum commitment of six months. If you are participating in the Bronze level of DofE it is recommended you choose your volunteering as your six month option.

This opportunity will be planned either for a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening between the hours of 5pm-7pm. Exact times and dates will be discussed with those applying.
