If you are an organisation that operates nationally and are still interested in applying, please do get in touch regarding next steps. If this does not apply to your organisation, you are still able to offer your opportunities to DofE participants - an AAP licence is not compulsory for organisations offering opportunities suitable for Volunteering, Physical & Skills sections and for smaller organisations, we would recommend continuing to offer activities independently rather than through being an AAP.

If you would like to continue to market your opportunities to DofE participants independently, we do ask that the following statement is added to your marketing to ensure it clearly states the activity’s suitability is subject to the participant’s DofE Leader’s approval:

“This [These] activity may count towards your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Skills/Volunteering/Physical section, please check with your DofE Leader for applicability before booking [attending].”
