About our partnerships
As a charity, our corporate partners – and the funds they donate and raise – are a crucial part of enabling more young people to discover their own, personal DofE journey. We will work with your company to learn more about your business, your goals and your strategy to best understand how we can support you.
Read some examples of successful partnerships we have developed with leading brands that achieved their goals and most importantly supported young people and their careers now and in the future.
Amey has partnered with the DofE for over 20 years – donating over £2 million and supporting over 140,000 young people to start the DofE including 600 Amey colleagues through DofE Business.
In 2024, the DofE and Amey launched a new strategic programme supporting young people in the Youth Justice system to transform their prospects and secure employment. We are bringing together Amey’s CRED programme and the DofE, with participants also benefiting from the DofE’s Young Leaders Programme, Youth Without Limits LIVE: Beyond the CV events, Taster Days and even the opportunity for a job interview with Amey and their supply chain on release from prison.
Amey has a clear mission in our social value plan of opening doors, educating and improving the skills of people across the communities we serve. Being a strategic partner of the DofE plays an important part in that mission, opening doors for more young people to the life changing benefits of the DofE.

British Airways has partnered with the DofE since 2023 – making donations to support more young people to begin their life changing DofE journey and sponsoring the “Changemaker of the Year” category for This Is Youth 2024.
We also work closely with their emerging talent team to bridge the gap between education and employment through bespoke ’Taster Days’ for young people local to British Airways’ head office, introducing them to the world of work and the career opportunities open to them.
Through our BA Better World Community Fund, we’re supporting young people in Hillingdon at the start of their DofE journey and ensuring finance is not a barrier to participation. By working alongside the DofE to deliver the ‘Access Without Limits’ programme, we can provide equal opportunities to young residents in the area, allowing them to enhance their skills, help their communities and grow their confidence
– Zoe Eagle, Community Investment and Responsible Business Executive at British Airways
Our partnership with TLMA has raised over £1.4 million and is on track to support 18,500 marginalised young people in London to start their DofE journey by March 2025. 1,000 leaders have been trained, and over 50 schools and community groups have received essential expedition equipment – enabling thousands of young Londoners to develop vital skills, build confidence, and support their transition from school to the world of work.
