This policy outlines how The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) manages complaints in a fair, consistent, and timely way. It sets out the process for raising concerns about the Award, or partner organisations. The policy also explains how we handle appeals and how we use feedback to help us continue to improve.
1. Document date and review schedule
- Executive Leadership Team (ELT) approval April 2025
- Next ELT review date March 2028
- Our Complaints Policy (‘Policy’) will be reviewed by ELT every three years, or more frequently if significant changes are needed.

- Responsibility for updating and securing approval of this Policy from ELT is assigned to the Director of Quality & Compliance
- The ELT is responsible for reviewing and approving the Policy.
