In 1956 when the Duke of Edinburgh's Award charity was first established our aim was and still is to help young people develop into well-rounded adults.  Open to all people aged between 14 and 25 we offer a non-competitive programme of activities that give your child the skills, attitudes and compassion they need to succeed in life. Completion of the programme leads to the achievement of a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. This section of our site will show you just how we do this and what your role in it is.
