It’s a huge achievement to complete The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, but each section is a milestone to celebrate.
Sectional certificates recognise your hard work and commitment throughout your DofE journey. For a Certificate of Achievement, you need to finish three sections of your DofE.
Sectional certificates
You can download your certificate in the ‘My achievements’ section of your eDofE account or DofE app after your section has been approved.
When you have achieved your Award, you’ll have access to a certificate for each of the finished sections. You’ll also have a certificate to celebrate the achievement of the Award level.

Certificate of Achievement
Completing three sections of your Award deserves recognition! To celebrate, your DofE Leader can choose to award you with a Certificate of Achievement.
The certificate recognises your dedication to your programme and everything you’ve achieved. You can add it to your CV or personal statement to highlight the skills and experiences you’ve gained.
We encourage you to continue your programme and complete your DofE Award if you’re able. All the sections offer valuable experiences that develop vital skills and character. Though we understand that sometimes it’s not possible to complete all the sections.
You can download your Certificate of Achievement in the ‘My achievements’ section of your eDofE account or DofE app if your Leader has awarded you one.
