With DofE Workplace, you can use the power of DofE to benefit your young employees, helping them to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new adventures, and build essential skills for work and life. Investing in DofE Workplace will fast-track the development of your young talent, creating stronger communicators, problem solvers and team players who can contribute to your organisation’s culture and growth.

DofE Workplace is a tailored 18-month programme building capability and resilience through achieving a Gold DofE Award, making it ideal for young employees. There are five sections to the Gold Award:

A person wearing a yellow helmet reaches up to secure a climbing rope to a wooden wall. The individual is focused and appears to be participating in an outdoor climbing or obstacle course activity. Another person is partially visible in the background, also engaged in the activity. The setting is outdoors, with trees visible in the distance.
Residential

The flexible five day, four night residential allows employees to embrace new experiences, build their peer network and help develop clear communication skills.

Skills

The Skills section will meet your business needs, whether it’s soft skills development or project-based learning. Your young employees will broaden their skills and gain practical experience that supports their progression at work.

Volunteering

Support your local communities, and help reach your social impact goals, by encouraging young employees to volunteer. From conservation projects to food banks, your colleagues can engage with existing charity relationships, or we can help you find new opportunities.

Physical

From park runs to local gym classes, completing their choice of physical challenge can support your employees’ physical and mental wellbeing as well as boosting their fitness and resilience.

Expedition

Take training away from the boardroom and into the wilderness. Outdoor expeditions help your colleagues develop their self-reliance, teamwork and solving problems based on real conditions in the natural environment.
